Every year, neighborhoods pay for trucks to pick up extra household trash across the Phillips Community. You can put our household trash items for FREE.

When and where do I put my trash out? 

Put your extra trash next to your garbage cans on Friday night, August 10th (but by 8am on Saturday at the latest).

What items can I put out? 

Accepted Items: 

• Old furniture

• Mattresses and box springs

• Scrap metal

• Shingles 

• Building Materials

• Carpet

• Tires

Unaccepted Items: 

• Hazardous Waste (liquids, paint or paint cans, asbestos, batteries, oils)

• Yard waste

• Dirt and sod
